   
WOULD YOU LIKE TO DRAG RACE!!??
Every Friday night you can bring your
daily driver or your hot rod out to see what it will do in the 1/4
mile for only $12. Grudge race your friends, that is $12 for as
many times as you can go down the track!!
EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!!!! OPEN TO EVERYONE!!!
HOW DO I RACE??
When you get to
the track you buy a tech card at the gate.
Fill out the tech
card completely and bring your car and card to the tech lane
(usually lane 8).
There your car
will checked for safety and your car will be numbered.
Pull
to proper staging lane. (these lanes will be announced at the
track)
Wait
for staging personnel to give you the OK to advance to second
stage line. (before water box)
at second stage line and wait for water box attendant to motion
you forward.
he motions you forward pull through the water box until attendant
stops you.
Stay there until he gives you the OK to do your burn-out.
Start your burn-out at his command this is to get your tires hot,
for better traction.
Do not burn-out past the starting line. (only dragsters and
shootout cars are permitted to do this)
After Burnout
stop
and wait for starting line personnel to motion you forward to
starting line.
(this is also indicated by the blue light on the tree)
Pre-stage -
there are 2 staging bulbs on the tree, pre-stage and stage. You
should roll forward until top light comes on, this is PRE-STAGE.
Then STOP as a courtesy to other driver, and wait until he/she
pre-stages their top bulb.
Stage - now you will SLOWLY roll forward until bottom bulb comes
on, then STOP.
YOU ARE NOW STAGED AND READY!!! When the other driver is also
staged, the tree will begin.
Go!!
There are 3 yellow bulbs that will light-up one after another
starting from the top and going down…then is the GREEN
light….GO!!!!
Finish Line -
let off the gas pedal after crossing the finish line and apply
brakes to slow down. Continue braking and slowing down then turn
right on return road. The return road is at the end of the track,
go right and proceed back to the pits.
Return road speed limit is 15 MPH on return road. No speeding, no
burn-outs, no horsing around!!!
Stop at the E.T. Shack to pick-up your time slip. Pull forward
completely off of the return road and return to your pit,
DO NOT STOP AND BLOCK RETURN ROAD OR MAIN PIT ROAD.
YOU ARE NOW A DRAG RACER!!!!
